An event your guests will actually talk about
Most corporate events are forgettable. This one puts your people at a table, teaches them something brand new together, and gets them laughing before the first hour is up.
Nobody needs to know how to play. That's the whole point. We take a room full of total beginners and have them playing real mahjong inside of ninety minutes, then hand the room over to a mixer where people actually talk to each other. No trust falls. No icebreakers nobody wanted.
Two rates, one event
Pricing is per guest type, not per package. Both rates run in the same room on the same day. You only pay for instruction for the guests who actually need it.

Open play from the start. They sit down and go.
How the day runs
Real instruction from our team, paced for the room. Beginners never feel lost. Experienced guests are already playing.
First real hands with our instructors circulating table to table. This is where it clicks and the room gets loud.
Food, drinks, and open networking. People have something to talk about now, so the conversation starts itself.
We play American mahjong, official NMJL rules. Groups who come back can move on to Mahjong 102 and 103.
What's included in the rate

| Bar and bartender | Setup, a bartender, and a custom cocktail menu. Standard bar is Jacy margaritas, espresso martinis, pepino, champagne, and wine. Consumption is billed separately with tax and gratuity on the tab. |
| Full coordination | Seating floor plan, professional setup and breakdown, and the closing networking mixer. No separate setup or rental fees. |
| Instruction | For your $185 guests. Ninety minutes of Mahjong 101 plus guided play, led by our team. |
Pricing & payment
| Rates | $185 per beginner needing instruction, $135 per experienced player. Both in the same event, plus tax. |
| Guest count | Minimum 20, maximum 40, in multiples of four. So 20, 24, 28, 32, 36, or 40. |
| Venue | These rates are for the Frida Room at Flora Mexican Kitchen. Coppa Osteria, Bottaio, a partner venue, or your own space are quoted separately. |
| Deposit | $2,700 non-refundable at booking, due together with your final beginner count. |
| Final payment | Remaining balance due two weeks before your event, based on confirmed total headcount. |
| Two weeks out | Confirmed headcount plus all dietary and allergy information. |
| Mahjong cards | Guests bring their own official NMJL card, or rent one from us at $7 each. Not provided otherwise. |
| Optional add-on | Bird Bam toast with mini frozen margaritas, $5 each. |
| Cancellation | Events canceled within two weeks of the event date are non-refundable. |
Booking your date
Five minutes. It tells us your date, your headcount, and what you want out of the day.
Within two business days, with your agreement and a soft hold on your date.
Signature, your final beginner count, and the $2,700 deposit. Your date is yours and we take it from there.

Pay your deposit
Once we have talked and your date is on hold, this is where you lock it in. Your deposit is $2,700, non-refundable, and it applies toward your final balance. Send it along with your final count of beginners needing instruction.
Secure checkout through Square. You will get a receipt by email and so will we.
